Wu Jian'an's artworks are included in the exhibition, KĀIWÙ, from May 19 to September 12, 2021, at Hospice Comtesse Museum in France. The exhibition features the creations of 30 artists, designers, and graphic and industrial design studios.
The exhibition illustrates how the spirit of scholars, those intellectuals whose way of life has profoundly influenced the aesthetic codes of Chinese objects and furniture, is perpetuated and transformed in culture and design today. Anchored in tradition or turned towards the technologies of the future, the Chinese object is reinventing itself, in step with the changing lifestyles of a growing middle class.
